Koogi (쿠기) is the writer and illustrator of Killing Stalking (킬링 스토킹). She first conceived the series before even entering college, drawing inspiration from her surroundings. As she observed the buildings, dirty alleys, signs, and crumpled flyers on the ground, she said, "The story was born inside me without me realizing it."[2]
Killing Stalking was published online in Korean and English by Lezhin Comics, and upon its success, it won the ₩100,000,000 Grand Prize Award at the Second Lezhin World Comics Contest.
Biography[]
Koogi is a graduate of Cheonggang Cultural Industry University[3] who majored in comics (manhwa)[4]. Koogi wanted to tell stories since primary school, but her dream was to become an oil painter. When She was ready to become a traditional painter in high school, she realized that she had a passion for telling stories instead.[5]
